I’m very happy to introduce you to the Software Makers Show, a passion project that holds a special place in my heart. As someone who hails from a tech background and on an entrepreneurial journey, I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges and triumphs that come with this.

A decade ago, I took a leap and established a software services company in a Tier 3 town in Tamil Nadu. The road was not smooth at all; the initial days were filled with lot of struggles and hurdles. What compounded the challenge was the lack of resources and support that often accompanies being in a lesser-known tech hub. Yet, through the highs and lows, I learned valuable lessons, some of which came from my own mistakes and the need to self-educate.

The software services industry, as you might already know, is a global giant, valued at a staggering US$1,241.00 billion according to Statista. However, I found that entrepreneurs of boutique software services companies, like the one I founded, often stay in the shadows, overshadowed by the glitz and glamour of startups.

This is where the idea for the Software Makers Show took root. I firmly believe that these unsung heroes deserve recognition. Their dedication to making softwares is an art in itself. They are bridging the gap between technical prowess and business acumen. The show is a platform to learn from their experiences, share insights, and most importantly, celebrate their journeys.

I’m not against the notion of startups or products; in fact, I emphasize the importance of productizing services as a powerful business model. Through, The Software Makers Show I am happy to nurturing and elevating boutique software services companies.
